As a key member of our support services team, you will be responsible for working with high-needs In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) recipients, often in emergency situations or needing help understanding how to navigate their county and state public assistance, such as IHSS and Medi-Cal. Your expertise and compassion will be essential in providing accurate and timely responses to customer inquiries, resolving complex issues, and ensuring seamless operations. Key Responsibilities Work collaboratively with high-needs IHSS recipients to provide personalized support and guidance, addressing their unique needs and concerns in a professional and empathetic manner. Handle inbound calls and correspondence, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and accurate manner. Enter accurate information into our database, maintaining up-to-date records and ensuring proper documentation. Collaborate with various staff members to ensure seamless operations, sharing knowledge and expertise to drive exceptional customer service. Maintain records and ensure proper documentation, adhering to strict confidentiality and data protection protocols. Perform light administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and envelope packing, to support the efficient operation of our services. Handle email and phone inquiries in a professional and courteous manner, providing exceptional customer service and support. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you will need to possess a Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field, such as Psychology, Sociology, or Counseling. A typing speed of 40 wpm, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
