Job Overview We are seeking an experienced and skilled Supervisor, Customer Service Management to join our Access and Patient Support team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day supervision of our front-line staff, ensuring that we deliver exceptional customer service and support to our clients and patients. Key Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of our Access Patient Support staff, ensuring that customer services and enrollment activities are delivered to the highest standards. Oversee staffing schedules to meet client contract requirements and company policies, including standard operating policies and work instructions. Directly supervise employees in the Access Patient Support Center, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their roles. Set priorities for the team, coordinate work activities with other supervisors, and apply expertise to solve standard and non-standard problems within your area of responsibility. Make informed decisions, often in complex and challenging situations, and coach and support subordinates in their decision-making efforts. Provide direction and input into succession planning, aligning individual goals with work area and functional goals, and building confidence and respect among team members. Assist the work team in achieving goals and commitments, and achieve your own goals and commitments, regardless of obstacles. Work within budgetary and financial objectives, applying knowledge of profit drivers to work processes, and identifying opportunities for long-term change and improvement. Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred, with a strong background in the healthcare field (3-5 years of experience preferred). Proven leadership skills, with the ability to create and communicate strategic and tactical plans that drive efficient and effective operations. Advanced knowledge of healthcare reimbursement, with experience in phone-based customer service and a passion for developing oneself and others. Excellent observation skills, with the ability to identify trends and problems, and provide solutions that meet the needs of clients and patients. Superior written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present information effectively in one-on-one and small group situations. Ability to effectively mediate situations, facilitate positive outcomes, and handle multiple outstanding issues in a timely and satisfactory manner. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook, and Excel. Strong critical and creative thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities. Self-motivated and dependable, with a strong work ethic and a commitment to delivering exceptional results. Organized, punctual, and efficient, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
