As a temporary Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience, making every interaction count and fostering a loyal customer base. Job Overview In this temporary role, you will be responsible for modeling and delivering exceptional customer service, ensuring that every customer interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient. Your primary focus will be on providing outstanding service, resolving customer issues, and promoting products and services to meet customer needs. As a key member of the arenaflex team, you will work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a clean, well-merchandised store environment and ensure compliance with all company policies and procedures. Key Responsibilities Models and delivers a distinctive and delightful customer experience, engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. Registers sales on assigned cash register, provides customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and resolves customer issues and answers questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Recommends items for sale to customers and recommends trade-up and/or companion items to enhance the shopping experience. Registers customer purchases on assigned cash register, collects cash and distributes change as requested, and processes voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Keeps counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, takes inventory, and maintains records, ensuring a tidy and organized store environment. Constructs and maintains displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise, and completes resets and revisions as directed. Assists with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures, and provides customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. Assumes web pick-up responsibilities, monitors orders, fills orders, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store. Assists with exterior and interior maintenance, ensuring a clean, neat, and orderly store condition and appearance. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner. You should be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities with ease. A strong knowledge of store systems and equipment is also essential, as well as the ability to comply with all company policies and procedures. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, previous experience in a retail or customer-facing environment would be highly beneficial, as would a working knowledge of store operations and asset protection procedures. The ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, is also desirable, as well as a willingness to attend training and complete PPLs as requested by management or assigned by corporate.
