We believe in fostering a culture of inclusivity, respect, and growth, where every team member feels valued and empowered to succeed. **Key Responsibilities:** As an Experienced Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will be responsible for: * **Delivering Exceptional Customer Experiences:** + Engage with customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services. + Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. + Model and share customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. * **Operations:** + Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service. + Recommend items for sale to customers and recommend trade-up and/or companion items. + Register customer purchases on assigned cash register, collect cash, and distribute change as requested. + Process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. + Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, take inventory, and maintain records. + Check in and price merchandise as required or as directed by store manager or communicated by the shift leader. * **Asset Protection and Compliance:** + Implement Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss. + Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcoholic beverages and tobacco products). * **Visual Merchandising and Store Maintenance:** + Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise. + Complete resets and revisions as directed. + Assist with separation of food items (e.g., raw foods from pre-cooked) and product placement as specified by policies/procedures. * **Photo Services and Web Pick-up:** + Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print, and creative machine. + Suggestively sell promotional photo products. + Assume web pick-up responsibilities (monitors orders in Picture Care Plus, fills orders, and delivers orders to customers as they arrive at the store). * **Exterior and Interior Maintenance:** + Ensure clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. + Comply with all company policies and procedures; maintain respectful relationships with coworkers. **Essential Qualifications:** * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or specialized training preferred. * 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or healthcare environment. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a retail or healthcare setting. * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Skills and Competencies:** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities. * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register. * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods. * Basic computer skills and familiarity with Point of Sale (POS) systems. * Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits:** * Opportunities for career advancement and professional growth within the company. * Comprehensive training programs to enhance your skills and knowledge. * Competitive compensation and benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off and holidays. * Opportunities for professional development and continuing education. **Work Environment and Company Culture:** * blithequark is committed to creating a positive and inclusive work environment. * Our team is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and making a positive impact on our customers' lives. * We value diversity, equity, and inclusion and strive to create a workplace where everyone feels valued and respected. **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits:** * Competitive hourly rate. * Opportunities for overtime pay. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance. * Paid time off and holidays. * Opportunities for professional development and continuing education. **How to Apply:** If you're a motivated and customer-focused individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional experiences, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
