We're committed to creating a workplace that's diverse, equitable, and inclusive, where everyone feels valued, respected, and empowered to grow. **Key Responsibilities** As a Customer Service Associate at arenaflex, you'll be responsible for: * Modeling and delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience that sets us apart from the competition * Registering sales on assigned cash register, providing customers with courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service * Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services * Resolving customer issues and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience * Recommending items for sale to customers and recommending trade-up and/or companion items * Registering customer purchases on assigned cash register, collecting cash and distributing change as requested * Processing voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed * Keeping counters and shelves clean and well merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records * Implementing Company asset protection procedures to identify and minimize profit loss * Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products * Constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional, seasonal, super structures, and sale merchandise * Assisting with separation of food items and product placement as specified by policies/procedures * Providing customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, poster print and creative machine, and suggestive sell of promotional photo products * Assisting with exterior and interior maintenance by ensuring clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance * Complying with all company policies and procedures; maintaining respectful relationships with coworkers **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent required; some college or vocational training preferred * 1-2 years of customer service experience in a retail or healthcare setting * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays **Preferred Qualifications** * Previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in a retail or healthcare setting * Knowledge of store systems and store equipment * Experience with digital passport photo service and promotional photo products * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations * Basic math skills and accuracy with handling cash and operating a cash register * Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods * Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills * Ability to work independently and as part of a team * Basic computer skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** At arenaflex, we're committed to helping our employees grow and develop their careers.
