Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, your primary focus will be on delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your key responsibilities will include: Engaging customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving customer issues, and answering questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a consistent and exceptional customer experience. Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, recommending items for sale, and suggesting trade-up and/or companion items. Processing customer transactions on assigned cash registers, handling cash, and distributing change as requested. Maintaining a clean and well-merchandised store environment, including counters and shelves, and implementing company asset protection procedures. Ensuring compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products and constructing and maintaining displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise. Assisting with web pick-up responsibilities, including monitoring orders, filling orders, and delivering orders to customers. Maintaining a working knowledge of store systems and equipment and providing customer service in the photo area. Essential Qualifications To succeed as a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll need: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with customers and colleagues effectively. A customer-centric approach, with a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences. Basic math skills, with the ability to handle cash and process transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a flexible attitude and a willingness to adapt to changing situations. Knowledge of store systems and equipment, or a willingness to learn. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications will be considered an asset: Previous customer service experience, preferably in a retail environment. Knowledge of products and services offered by blithequark, or a willingness to learn. Experience working with cash registers and processing transactions. Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock rotation principles.
