Job Overview We are seeking highly skilled and enthusiastic Customer Service Associates to join our team in Houston, USA. As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in creating a memorable and satisfying experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include providing exceptional customer service, processing sales transactions, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and contributing to the overall success of our retail operations. Key Responsibilities: Model and convey a distinctive and superb client experience, ensuring that every customer interaction is positive and memorable. Register sales on allocated sales registers, provide clients with polite, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service, and process transactions accurately and promptly. Engage clients and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving customer issues and inquiries to ensure a positive client experience. Recommend items for sale to clients and suggest upsell and/or companion items to enhance their shopping experience. Maintain counters and retire areas clean and well-promoted, take inventory, and keep records up to date. Execute organization resource protection methods to identify and minimize profit loss, and ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding controlled products. Develop and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, super designs, and sale stock, and complete resets and revisions as directed. Assist with the separation of food items and product placement as determined by policies/procedures, and aid in stock rotation, using the first-in, first-out strategy, and restock outs. Provide customer support in the photo area, including digital passport photo service, banner print, and creative machine, and sell special photo items. Take on web pick obligations, screen orders in Picture Care Plus, handle orders (pick items), and deliver orders to clients as they arrive at the store. Assist with outside and inside maintenance by ensuring a clean, sleek, systematic store environment and appearance. Conform to all organization policies and procedures, and maintain respectful relationships with colleagues. Complete special tasks and other assignments as allocated. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: A Bachelor's Degree in any field. Ability to read, write, and communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico). Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: At least six months of experience in a retail environment. Previous work experience with blithequark. Ability to communicate in English (except in Puerto Rico). Eagerness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.
