Job Overview The Inside Sales/Customer Service position is a critical role in our Supply Center, responsible for delivering superior customer service that meets each customer's unique set of delivery and product requirements. As a Customer Service and Support Representative, you will be the face of arenaflex, providing support to customers through various channels, including face-to-face interactions, phone, and email. Your primary goal will be to ensure customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and provide timely and accurate support to our customers. Key Responsibilities Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to customer needs thoroughly and in a timely manner with accuracy and detail Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge to effectively support customers Field and resolve customer issues and questions in a professional and courteous manner Perform inside sales duties as needed, including providing quotes, processing customer orders, and scheduling product deliveries Utilize consultative selling skills to establish, develop, and service new customer accounts Operate in a safe manner and maintain a safe work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures Support the Supply Center Team in attaining the overall goals and objectives of the business unit Accurate order entry and follow-up to ensure customer satisfaction Follow and execute any additional direction given by the Branch Manager to assist in obtaining overall goals and objectives of the organization Other duties as necessary to support the team and ensure customer satisfaction Requirements and Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to multi-task and make business decisions in a constantly changing, fast-paced environment Composed under pressure with excellent time management and organizational skills Results-driven, self-motivated, and enthusiastic with a positive attitude Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent listening skills Ability to learn and embrace new technology and systems High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred 2+ years of experience in a retail/wholesale environment with demonstrated success working with customers Microsoft Excel, Office, and Outlook experience preferred General knowledge of the building industry preferred but not required Physical Requirements The physical demands of this role include: Frequent standing, walking, bending, talking, and listening Location-specific lifting requirements based on what the supply center requires Working in a warehouse environment and office space with forklifts present Wearing Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) issued for the branch location Temperature ranges from extreme cold to extreme heat Frequent use of company communication devices, such as computers, cell phones, and printers What We Offer At arenaflex, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including: Medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance for employees and their eligible family members 401(k) plan with matching contributions Minimum of eight hours of vacation time every month and 10 paid holidays throughout the calendar year Collaborative environment with idea-sharing, learning, and curiosity Training and mentoring opportunities Opportunities for growth within the company Other compensation, such as bonuses, commissions, or other forms of compensation, may be offered to the hired applicant in addition to their established salary range or wage scale Our Culture and Values At arenaflex, we value diversity, equity, and inclusion.
