Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service and Live Chat Agent at blithequark, your primary focus will be on providing real-time assistance to our customers through various communication channels. Your key responsibilities will include: Providing real-time assistance to customers via live chat and/or email, addressing their queries, concerns, and issues in a prompt and courteous manner. Answering questions regarding our products, services, orders, returns, and technical support, ensuring that customers have a clear understanding of our offerings and policies. Troubleshooting basic issues and escalating more complex problems to the relevant teams as needed, ensuring that customers receive the support they need to resolve their issues efficiently. Maintaining a high level of professionalism and empathy with customers, ensuring that every interaction is handled with care and understanding. Documenting customer interactions clearly and accurately, ensuring that all relevant information is captured and stored for future reference. Meeting or exceeding performance metrics including response time, customer satisfaction, and resolution rate, continually striving to improve your skills and performance. Following blithequark policies, procedures, and scripts where applicable, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled in accordance with our guidelines and standards. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent (college preferred), demonstrating a strong foundation in education and a commitment to learning. Previous customer service or call center experience is a plus, although we are willing to train the right candidate who is eager to learn and grow with our team. Strong written communication skills (spelling, grammar, tone), enabling you to craft clear, concise, and professional responses to customer inquiries. Comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced, remote environment, able to prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively to meet performance metrics. Tech-savvy; ability to quickly learn new tools and platforms, demonstrating a willingness to adapt to new technologies and systems. Reliable internet connection and access to a quiet work environment, ensuring that you can work efficiently and effectively from the comfort of your own home. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, taking ownership of your work and responsibilities, and being self-motivated to achieve your goals. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following preferred qualifications will be highly regarded: Previous experience working in a remote or virtual team environment, demonstrating your ability to work effectively in a distributed team setting. Familiarity with customer service software and technologies, such as live chat platforms, CRM systems, and helpdesk tools. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to ensure that our customers receive the support they need outside of regular business hours.
