About the Role As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, you will play a pivotal role in our team, working closely with patients, doctors' offices, and insurance companies to set up new accounts, resolve issues, obtain prior authorizations, and manage prescription refills. Your dedication and expertise will be crucial in ensuring that our patients receive their medical supplies in a timely manner. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming and outgoing calls with members, caregivers, doctors, and other outside providers regarding members' documentation and account needs. Review documentation for completion and insurance compliance, entering it into member accounts with accuracy and attention to detail. Thoroughly review patient accounts and records to ensure timely patient service, utilizing multiple computer applications to access and enter data. Communicate professionally with members, caregivers, guardians, medical professionals, and co-workers, maintaining a HIPAA compliant and ethical manner at all times. Utilize the Customer Service Wiki to maintain a strong knowledge base of processes, procedures, insurance guidelines, products, and company information, making suggestions for process improvements whenever possible. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you will need a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to multi-task and utilize multiple computer applications simultaneously. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential, along with the ability to conduct yourself in a professional, HIPAA compliant, and ethical manner at all times. Preferred Qualifications While not required, having 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced customer service role, particularly one that involves handling multiple tasks at various stages of completion, is highly desirable. Previous experience requiring clear and calm communication by phone, as well as the ability to effectively use computer systems and maintain good records, will be advantageous. Your ability to work well under pressure, think critically, and contribute to a positive team environment will make you an ideal candidate for this position.
