Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Customer Service Agent to join our team. As a Ticket and Gate Operations Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our customers have a smooth and enjoyable travel experience. You will be responsible for providing top-notch service to our clients, handling ticketing and baggage operations, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for all customers and employees. Key Responsibilities Utilize a computer to sell, print, and reissue tickets Manage the baggage registration process, ensuring that customers have the necessary documentation for travel Label baggage and perform lifting tasks that involve moving items from scales to transport lines Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure Assist customers with seat availability, gate announcements, flight status, checking and handling baggage, and initiating the boarding process Work efficiently to put customers in the right position before aircraft arrival and lifting, opening, closing, and securing aircraft doors Practice safety-conscious behaviors in every operational cycle and procedure Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to have: A high school diploma or GED equivalent A strong commitment to safety and security, with a focus on the well-being of self and others Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to use proper grammar, tone, and expression Basic computer skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies The ability to lift bags or items weighing up to 80 pounds Authorization to live and work in the country you are applying to Fluency in English, both written and spoken Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken (preferred) Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: A bachelor's degree in a related field Previous experience in customer service, ticketing, or a related field Knowledge of airline operations and procedures Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills The ability to work effectively in a team environment A strong commitment to safety and security The ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities A positive and friendly demeanor, with a focus on providing exceptional customer service Career Growth Opportunities At arenaflex, we are committed to helping our employees grow and develop in their careers.
