About the Role We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Agent to join our team in Waterloo, IA. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be part of a team reporting to a Supervisor, Customer Experience, and will be responsible for responding to a high volume of inbound phone calls, building customer relationships, and resolving customer challenges. You will work in a team-based environment, collaborating with customers and Sales team members daily to provide exceptional customer service. You will enjoy your weekends off, with a schedule of 8:30 to 5:00 p.m. Central time, Monday through Friday. After completing our 8-week onsite training academy, you will have the opportunity to work from home up to 5 days a week and participate in a bidding process for alternate work shifts. Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need: High School diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of customer service experience Ability to commute to our facility from your home A secure workspace at home dedicated to job activity Proficiency in operating and navigating multiple PC-based programs at once Stable internet with the ability to provide proof of internet speeds greater than 5 megabits per second upload, 15 megabits per second download, and ping less than 80 milliseconds Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a call center or customer service environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Strong technical skills and ability to learn new software and systems Career Growth and Development At blithequark, we are committed to helping our team members grow and develop in their careers.
