Job Overview The Senior Sourcing Specialist will play a vital role in our organization, working closely with business stakeholders to make informed sourcing decisions and maximize the value of our $1B+ annual professional services spend. This position requires a strategic thinker with excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sourcing strategies, leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives, and building relationships with key executives and suppliers. Key Responsibilities Associate with business stakeholders across the organization to make informed sourcing decisions and maximize the value of our professional services spend Develop and lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders Evaluate suppliers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria Develop and lead RFI/RFP processes for professional services in accordance with blithequark's policies and procedures Analyze bids based on overall cost and delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value Prepare and execute clear, fact-based negotiation strategies using Strategic Sourcing methodology Prepare and execute contracts, as well as perform post-award administration Understand and support the development and execution of performance management programs with suppliers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices Communicate and document the status of any significant external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making Analyze market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external suppliers and/or pricing Participate in professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years of services category sourcing Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels Strong strategic agility Strong analytical skills Excellent written and oral communication skills Strong negotiation skills Ability to collaborate in a team environment Internal customer focus Ability/preference to work in various environments Ability to handle ambiguity Knowledge of Sourcing & Procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends and conditions Proven proficiency with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements Established experience working with the legal department on matters related to boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services Professional Services Sourcing background is a plus Consulting/Advisory background is a plus Education A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field is required for this position.
