As a Customer Care Representative at arenaflex, you will be responsible for assisting internal and external customers with moderately complex issues related to insurance matters. You will deliver exceptional service while proactively seeking feasible solutions within compliance and legal requirements. Your excellent communication skills will be utilized as you interact with customers via multiple channels, navigating multiple systems and platforms. Key Responsibilities Receives and responds to inquiries related to insurance matters, interacting with customers, agents, and others to resolve moderately complex issues regarding policy provisions and conditions. Evaluates and interprets policy information within prescribed authority limits, accessing account information and communicating while working in multiple systems. Escalates unresolved issues requiring advanced support for further resolution, building knowledge and acumen through self-directed learning, and staying informed about underwriting and policy guidelines and other updates, including compliance and legal requirements. Helps maintain department knowledge resources to keep them current, actively listening to customer concerns to identify trends or patterns, and recognizing opportunities for process improvement and making recommendations to leadership. Partners with various departments, including Policy Support, Claims, and Underwriting, to respond to customer inquiries, and may work with external vendors to further address customer needs. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent required. One year of experience in insurance or a related field preferred, with experience providing customer support within a high-volume, complex environment preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills, strong verbal communication and listening skills, and demonstrated written communication skills. Demonstrated analytical skills, problem-solving skills, and excellent judgment and decision-making skills. A friendly and service-oriented approach, maintaining a high degree of professionalism, with excellent organizational skills and being highly thorough and dependable. Possessing flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with strong technical aptitude and basic computer skills, able to navigate multiple systems simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a customer-facing role, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services. Experience working in a remote or hybrid environment, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong knowledge of compliance and legal requirements, with the ability to interpret and apply policy information.
