About the Role In this critical customer-facing position, you will play a vital role in providing inbound phone support to our healthcare customers throughout Arizona. Your primary responsibility will be to identify, research, process, resolve, and respond to customer inquiries via telephone and written correspondence. You will be the voice of blithequark, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and support to navigate our healthcare services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, programs, and provider networks. Key Responsibilities Provide exceptional customer service, responding to a high volume of customer calls and correspondence in a professional and courteous manner Research and resolve customer inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions Document and record facts related to inquiries and correspondence, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records in our systems Collaborate with internal departments, external plans, providers, businesses, and government agencies to obtain information and ensure resolution of customer inquiries Stay current with blithequark's systems, procedures, forms, and manuals, demonstrating a strong understanding of our healthcare services and policies Qualifications and Requirements To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a combination of skills, experience, and personal qualities that enable you to deliver exceptional customer service and support. These include: At least one year of experience in claims examination, health insurance, customer service, call center, medical office, or other healthcare-related field High School diploma or GED Intermediate PC proficiency, with the ability to navigate multiple system applications and maintain accurate records Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to practice active listening and achieve high customer satisfaction Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to research and resolve complex customer inquiries Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting quality, quantity, and timeliness standards Preferred Qualifications Previous experience working in a call center or customer service environment, preferably in the healthcare industry Knowledge of health insurance products and services, including contract benefits, changes in coverage, eligibility, claims, and provider networks Experience working with diverse customer populations, including individuals, families, and businesses Strong understanding of customer service principles and practices, with a focus on delivering exceptional service and support Career Growth and Development Opportunities At blithequark, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our employees. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive hourly pay rate of $20.00/hr, as well as a range of benefits that support work-life balance and flexibility.
