Key Responsibilities: Utilize the ANA Nursing Process (2010) to perform comprehensive assessments, analyze data, determine expected results, devise plans, implement care, and evaluate patient progress. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, families, and support systems to provide high-quality patient care and promote continuity of care. Follow the ANA Standards of Professional Performance (2010) and the ANA 2010 Code for Nurse Professional Behavior and Conduct. Proficiently use applicable technology and software to document patient care, access work-related apps, and continuously improve patient care delivery. Provide health education and health promotion to patients and their families, using a variety of techniques to encourage healthy behaviors and a safe physical environment. Work closely with advanced practice registered nurses and nursing role specialists to identify obstacles and devise solutions that will improve patient outcomes. Essential Qualifications: Completion of a nursing education program approved by a board of nursing. Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification - American Heart Association (AHA). Registered Nurse (RN) - South Dakota Board of Nursing. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years of Registered Nurse Experience. Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
