**Experienced Crisis Specialist – 988 Chat/Text Crisis Support (3rd Shift) – Part-Time Opportunity**

Our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion is at the heart of everything we do, and we strive to create a workplace that reflects the growing world around us. **Job Summary** As a Crisis Specialist on our 988 Chat/Text Crisis Support team, you will provide critical support to individuals in crisis, conducting brief clinical screenings, risk assessments, and connecting them with community resources. This is a remote position, and you will work closely with our team to ensure that individuals receive the support they need to stay safe. If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of others and have a strong background in behavioral health, we encourage you to apply. **Essential Duties & Responsibilities** * Provide telephonic or chat clinical screenings and risk assessments to individuals in crisis * Answer crisis contacts via the chat/text platform to assess for suicide, safety, and identify appropriate community resources to meet individual needs * Conduct follow-up calls for individuals deemed moderate to high risk for suicide * Meet the ethical and clinical standards in compliance with all accreditation * Actively participate in ongoing supervision, training, and team meetings * Assist in administrative tasks as needed **Knowledge, Skills & Abilities** * Effectively communicate via written, verbal, in-person, and virtual methods * Demonstrate high-level customer service skills and professional etiquette * Knowledge and competency in providing service linkage and referrals for programs, services, and other community resources * Knowledge of suicide assessments * Skill in providing crisis intervention **Qualifications** * Bachelor's degree in behavioral science, Psychology, Social Work, or Certified Peer Recovery Specialist * Six months to one year of related crisis experience required **Work Environment & Culture** As a Crisis Specialist at blithequark, you will work in a dynamic and supportive environment that prioritizes your growth and development.
