Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Commercial Sales Manager to join our dynamic sales team, focusing on non-food processing equipment. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers. Key Responsibilities Meet or exceed sales and profitability goals by developing and executing effective sales strategies Identify and target new business opportunities within the assigned segment, leveraging your knowledge of the industry and market trends Develop and nurture long-term relationships with new and existing customers, serving as a trusted advisor and providing exceptional customer service Understand and articulate technical information in a concise manner, communicating the value of our solutions to customers and stakeholders Collaborate with the technical team during customer projects, ensuring seamless execution and delivery of our solutions Prepare and deliver compelling sales proposals and contract negotiations, driving revenue growth and expanding our customer base Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitive offerings, providing market insights and recommendations to improve our sales strategies Manage participation in trade shows and sales meetings, representing our company and promoting our brand Provide feedback to improve existing offerings and identify opportunity areas for new product development, contributing to our company's innovation and growth Detailed and accurate forecasting of opportunities, ensuring effective sales planning and resource allocation Responsive to requests and inquiries from internal and external customers, providing timely and effective support Generate trip reports and utilize Sales Force, maintaining accurate records and tracking sales performance Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 50% of the time, meeting with customers, attending industry events, and promoting our brand Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Bachelor's degree in mechanical/chemical engineering or business, with a strong foundation in technical sales and business development 5+ years of technical related direct capital equipment sales experience in processing, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships Strong closing skills, with the ability to negotiate and close deals in a fast-paced and competitive environment Dedicated work ethic, with a strong commitment to achieving sales targets and delivering exceptional customer service Technical competence, with a solid understanding of process equipment and engineered technologies Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical information in a clear and concise manner Sound knowledge of PC use and applications, with proficiency in Sales Force and other sales management tools Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous use of Sales Force, with experience in sales management and customer relationship management Thermal processing or industrial drying experience, with a strong understanding of the non-food processing industry Food processing industry sales experience, with a proven track record of driving sales growth and expanding customer relationships in this sector Knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes, with a solid understanding of the technical aspects of our solutions Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At CPM Holdings, Inc., we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
