Key Responsibilities Develop a technical approach to enhance the American Express cloud platform, with a focus on building automation for the delivery of scalable cloud services. Collaborate with various engineering teams to design, develop, and deploy APIs and solutions that are high-quality, scalable, and secure. Explore and apply the latest technologies and libraries to help create sustainable products. Develop software programs that make code efficient, including implementing controls, connections, testing, and deployment. Work with NSQL databases, platforms, and partitions to develop API/middleware solutions. Participate in the rapid development process and contribute to the improvement of the QE process. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you should possess the following essential qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure). Knowledge of programming languages such as GoLang and/or Java. Experience with cloud engineering, CI/CD, Kubernetes, Openshift, Docker, etc. Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team. Preferred Qualifications In addition to the essential qualifications, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus: Experience with NSQL databases. Understanding of the QE process and rapid development methodologies. Knowledge of open-source products and technologies.
