Key Responsibilities As a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Workwarp, your primary responsibilities will include: Designing and implementing efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure using technologies such as Terraform, Packer, and Python. Collaborating with senior technical leads and other engineers to develop and implement best practices for cloud infrastructure management. Troubleshooting complex technical issues, working closely with colleagues to identify and implement effective solutions. Contributing to the development and maintenance of documentation related to infrastructure and processes. Ensuring adherence to Wayfair's technical principles, policies, and procedures. Applying industry best practices for Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure optimal system performance and throughput. Collaborating on migration projects, assisting in transitioning existing platforms to the cloud. Utilizing programming skills to work with self-service deployment of distributed systems. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: Significant industry experience in DevOps or cloud data systems, or related roles. Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum team. Basic understanding of infrastructure design and administration in cloud environments, with a willingness to learn and grow in this area. Familiarity with cloud database, storage, and data services, preferably with hands-on experience using GCP, AWS, or Azure. Excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn from senior colleagues.
