Job Overview As a Class A CDL Delivery Driver with Workwarp, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating diesel-powered tractor-trailers to transport and deliver products to customer locations. You will be required to conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, operate the tractor-trailer in a safe and legal manner, and interact with customers and sales teams to ensure excellent service. Duties & Responsibilities: Perform assigned pre-shift activities to ensure a productive shift, including reviewing work schedules, checking equipment, and preparing for operations. Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections, as well as in-route safety inspections, to ensure the safe operation of all equipment according to FMCSA regulations. Safely and legally operate the tractor-trailer at all times, following all applicable laws and company policies. Effectively trip plan using maps, GPS, and written or verbal information to ensure efficient, legal, and on-time pick-up and delivery. Load and secure cargo against movement and damage within the trailer, and maintain seal control as required. Interact with customers and sales teams to ensure excellent service, and foster relationships with team members and store personnel to eliminate potential issues and maximize volume opportunities. Perform needed post-shift activities, including coupling and uncoupling trucks from trailers, refueling, and completing required paperwork. Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities To be successful as a Class A CDL Delivery Driver with Workwarp, you will need to possess the following knowledge, skills, and abilities: Valid Class A CDL (Commercial Driver's License) valid for Interstate driving using manual and automatic transmission. Ability to obtain and maintain a valid FMCSA physical certification with Interstate non-excepted classification. Two (2) years of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience preferred. Sales experience preferred. Ability to lift 50 pounds and use a pallet jack. Capable of reading and understanding information related to the trip and planning effectively for the trip. Willing to work varying shifts, including overnight and early morning. Minimum Qualifications To be considered for this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications: Knowledge acquired through 1 to up to 3 years of work experience. Valid driver's license with an excellent driving history. CDL required; Hazmat Certification where necessary. Work Environment The work environment for this role will vary, including exposure to weather conditions, coolers, and customer storage areas, which may be non-temperature controlled.
