We're seeking an experienced and passionate Child, Family, and Teen Mental Health Therapist to join our team of dedicated professionals. As a remote therapist, you'll have the flexibility to work from anywhere in Washington State, while making a tangible difference in the lives of our clients. About the Position As a Child/Family/Teen Mental Health Therapist at Thrive Counseling Center, you'll be part of a supportive community of mental health professionals who share your commitment to delivering high-quality care. Our therapists are passionate about working with clients they care about, and we're dedicated to helping you achieve successful client outcomes and clinician satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Perform direct clinical counseling services to clients as scheduled, adhering to applicable rules and regulations. Provide evidence-based, theory-driven therapy, demonstrating a strong sense of case conceptualization and a commitment to delivering exceptional client care. Communicate effectively with patients' treatment teams, including PCPs, psychiatrists, schools, and other relevant parties. Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics in all aspects of your work with clients, colleagues, and others. Respond to clients' correspondence in a timely manner, ensuring seamless communication and care. Complete records and reports on time for each client, aligning with our Practice policies and procedures. Conduct counseling services in a professional manner, maintaining and enhancing the goodwill and reputation of our Practice. Essential Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: A Master's Degree or Doctoral Degree in counseling or social work from an accredited institution. An active, unrestricted license in the State of Washington (PhD, PsyD, LCSW, LMFT, or LCPC). At least 1 year of directly related work experience in mental health therapy. Residency in Washington State or concrete plans to relocate to WA state. Availability to provide counseling services during mid/late afternoon-evenings and/or weekend days. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and experiences will make you a more competitive candidate: Experience with specialized therapies such as Play Therapy, Attachment-Focused Therapy, Art Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Family Systems Therapy/Approaches, CBT, DBT, and EMDR. Supervising experience, demonstrating your ability to lead and guide others. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and treatment teams. A commitment to maintaining the highest standards of confidentiality and ethics. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients. A passion for working with children, teens, and families, with a deep understanding of their unique needs and challenges.
