You will be responsible for utilizing pharmacy systems to process prescriptions, assisting with inventory management, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace. Key Responsibilities Assist pharmacists with the dispensing of medication, including retrieving, counting, and pouring prescription drugs Utilize pharmacy systems to enter patient and medication data, ensuring accuracy and efficiency Provide exceptional customer care, including greeting patients, answering questions, and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the pharmacy area and sales floor Assist with inventory management, including ordering, receiving, and stocking merchandise Process manual claims for third-party prescription services and perform other administrative tasks as assigned Support pharmacists with clinical services, including the collection and labeling of blood/urine samples and other clinical services as required Maintain knowledge of company policies and procedures, including those related to pharmacy operations, customer service, and inventory management Essential Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., pharmacy technology, healthcare administration) PTCB certification (or willingness to obtain certification within a specified timeframe) Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico, where bilingual skills may be required) Preferred Qualifications At least six months of experience in a retail environment, preferably in a pharmacy setting Previous experience working with arenaflex or a similar healthcare organization Strong numerical skills, with the ability to accurately count, measure, and weigh prescription drugs Proficiency in computer systems, including pharmacy software and inventory management systems Knowledge of store inventory control and management principles Career Growth and Development At arenaflex, we are committed to supporting the career growth and development of our employees.
