About the Role We are seeking an experienced and skilled Central Sterile Technician to join our team on the night shift. As a Central Sterile Tech Nights - LOH, you will play a critical role in ensuring that all instruments, emergency supplies, and equipment meet established quotas, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Your responsibilities will include delivering instruments to surgical suites in a timely manner, decontaminating, disinfecting, testing, adjusting, assembling, and transporting mobile patient equipment, as well as conducting inventories and maintaining the sterile processing of all materials. Key Responsibilities: Ensures all instruments and emergency supplies meet established quotas, both qualitatively and quantitatively. Delivers instruments to the surgical suites in a timely manner. Decontaminates, disinfects, tests, adjusts, assembles, and transports mobile patient equipment. Conducts inventories and maintains the sterile processing of all materials. Answers telephone calls and responds to requests from internal and external customers. Actively participates in a continuous quality improvement process. Handles face-to-face interactions with internal and external customers. Performs other duties as assigned. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent. Current certification for Central Service by an accredited agency, such as IAHCSMM or the National Certification for Surgical Technologist. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to follow oral and written instructions and perform basic mathematical calculations. Basic computer skills. Flexibility to work a varied schedule, including weekends and holidays. Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of specific healthcare products, patient care equipment, surgical instruments, medical terminology, and basic use. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
