At Centria Healthcare, we believe that every individual deserves to live a life of purpose, dignity, and fulfillment. **Job Summary** As an Experienced Center-Based Registered Behavior Technician (RBT), you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of ABA therapy plans for children with autism. You will work closely with our Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) and other members of the treatment team to provide individualized support and guidance to our clients and their families. Your expertise and compassion will help our clients acquire essential life skills, build confidence, and achieve their goals. **Key Responsibilities** * Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings, utilizing a combination of intensive teaching and natural environment training to promote skill acquisition and behavior reduction. * Follow prescribed behavioral skill acquisition and behavior reduction protocols as outlined in client individualized treatment plans built by BCBAs/BCs. * Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior to inform treatment planning and progress monitoring. * Assist with parent and caregiver training in line with client individualized treatment and behavior reduction protocols. * Ensure documentation is completed on time and following established procedures. * Effectively communicate with parents and caregivers regarding client progress as instructed by BCBAs/BCs. * Utilize safe and appropriate procedures when working with clients and appropriately report all critical incidents and safety concerns. * Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work and therapy environment. * Assist BCBAs/BCs in preparation of client materials, behavior reduction assessments, and skills acquisition. **Essential Qualifications, Skills, and Knowledge** * Current certification as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) as issued by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB) or willingness to complete a 40-hour training course and sit for the RBT competency exam within 45 days of employment. * High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, education, special education) preferred. * Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (in some cases) required. * Ability to physically perform the job, including getting down on the floor and standing up many times, lifting up to 50 pounds, and running/moving quickly if required for the interaction with and safety and protection of the children with whom you work. * Strong attention to detail, ability to follow and carry out detailed instructions, and strong understanding of technology to record data on a mobile device and navigate digital applications. * Good written and verbal communication skills, strong cultural competency, and ability to remain flexible and open-minded. * Ability to maintain emotional control even if client acting out physically or verbally, patience to help keep our clients on task, and a positive attitude and drive to help a child acquire new skills. **Preferred Qualifications** * Experience working as a Behavioral Technician, working in some capacity with children with autism or other learning disabilities, Teacher's Aid, Tutor, CNA, Caregiver, or Home Health Aide. * Strong understanding of ABA principles and practices, including discrete trial training (DTT), positive reinforcement, and behavioral skills training (BST). **Compensation and Benefits** * Competitive salary range: $18 - $24 per hour, commensurate with experience, certification level, and highest level of education. * Opportunities for career growth and professional development. * Comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off. * A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity, equity, and inclusion. **Work Environment and Company Culture** * Our center-based program provides a safe and supportive environment for our clients to learn and grow. * Our team is passionate about providing high-quality care and is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of our clients and their families. * We value diversity, equity, and inclusion and strive to create a workplace culture that is inclusive and respectful of all individuals. **How to Apply** If you are a motivated and compassionate individual who is passionate about working with children with autism, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
