Job Overview: Cancellations Processor As a Cancellations Processor at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in supporting dealerships and their representatives by ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of cancellations. Your expertise will enable us to maintain our high standards of customer service and protection product delivery. This non-exempt, remote position is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to grow their careers in the automotive finance and insurance industry. Key Responsibilities: Process a minimum of 75 cancellations daily, ensuring timely and accurate reimbursement of unused contract costs to dealerships, agents, customers, or finance companies. Multitask effectively to meet productivity standards while maintaining attention to detail. Verify that documents are correctly linked to contracts and return any non-compliant documents to the relevant parties. Research and resolve issues related to returned checks and other cancellation-related matters. Review customer contract paperwork, including cancellation dates, repossession letters, and payoff information. Respond to emails and other communications in a timely and professional manner. Adapt to changes in cancellation procedures and processes, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn. Perform other duties as assigned by upper management, showcasing your ability to be a team player. Essential Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent; College degree preferred. Minimum of three years' experience in customer service, insurance claims, or a call center environment; Automotive Industry experience is a plus. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows and MS-Office Products, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve policy issues. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with superior verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle complex situations and exercise sound judgment when interacting with customers. Knowledge of cancellation procedures and the ability to process requests accurately. Ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently to meet key Service Level standards. Strong attention to detail, with good punctuation, spelling, mathematical, and grammar skills. Authorization to work in the U.S. and ability to pass a background check. Preferred Qualifications: Experience within the Automotive Industry, particularly in cancellation processing or a related field. Strong knowledge and understanding of forms management and contract terms & conditions. Ability to comprehend complex form verbiage and accurately complete cancellations.
