About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service, handling patient inquiries, and resolving third-party anomalies. This is a full-time, remote opportunity that offers a competitive hourly salary of $25-$35. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's prescription data entry methodology and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient prescription requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription information and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients on a case-by-case basis. Settle third-party anomalies by assessing, gathering information, creating claims, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to insurance providers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve third-party anomalies. Provide assistance to pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations, and identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level PC skills, including launching and shutting down the computer, using the mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between programs, saving files, printing documents, and accessing data online. Basic browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a webpage, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents). Effective communication skills, both written and verbal. Must be 18 years old or older. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacies or a widely recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer care to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, organizing documents). Proficiency in both Spanish and English.
