Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's prescription information entry methodology and rules to process new patient enrollments and enter data into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing prescription data and interpret medical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions and communicate with patients, prescribers, and other stakeholders as needed. Provide support to pharmacists, both in the office and in other locations, and escalate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Handle Third-Party Rejections by reviewing, gathering information, making corrections, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to providers and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing documents, and accessing information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing URLs in the correct location, using a search engine, bookmarking a page, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1-2 years as a pharmacy technician with a certification/registration by the state as granted by the State Board of Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external customers, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
