Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Call Center Representative to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. Key Responsibilities Utilize blithequark's solution information section strategies and rules to process new patient enrollment by entering data into the proper system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing medication information and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions. Handle communication to patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and resolve outbound calls to prescribers and patients as needed. Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain information, gain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections. Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations. Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and shut down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between applications, save files, print reports, and access information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
