Job Overview In this critical role, you will be responsible for providing top-notch customer service, handling high-volume client requests, and performing data entry tasks with accuracy and efficiency. As a Call Center Representative, you will work under direct supervision, adhering to established guidelines, protocols, and procedures to ensure seamless operations. Your primary objectives will include processing new patient enrollments, answering customer inquiries, resolving issues, and utilizing pharmacy systems to retrieve patient and medication information. Key Responsibilities: Utilize arenaflex's data entry procedures and guidelines to process new patient enrollments by entering information into the appropriate system. Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. Investigate to obtain missing medication data and interpret clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). Resolve all data entry-related exceptions. Handle communication with patients (inbound calls, visits, messages) and make outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. Resolve Third-Party Rejections by inspecting, gathering information, making adjustments, and resubmitting for processing according to individual plan requirements. Make phone calls to guarantors and others to acquire information, obtain override approval, or otherwise resolve Third-Party Rejections. Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in different locations. Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as appropriate. Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: High School Diploma or GED. Basic level computer skills (e.g., starting and shutting down a computer, using a mouse to point and click, starting and closing programs, switching between applications, saving files, printing reports, and accessing information online). Basic web browser skills, including opening a browser, typing in URLs, using a search engine, bookmarking a site, navigating using back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. Intermediate-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally. Must be at least 18 years old. Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following preferred qualifications will make you a more competitive candidate: At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in a retail or call center environment. At least 1.5 years as a pharmacy technician with a certificate/registration by the state as granted by the State Board for Pharmacy or a nationally recognized certification agency. Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services and assessment of customer satisfaction. Intermediate to advanced level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, formatting documents). Fluency in Spanish and English.
