We're now seeking an experienced Area Manager to join our Amazon Fulfillment Center DFW7 team, leading high-performing teams and driving success in a fast-paced environment. About the Role As an Area Manager at Amazon Fulfillment Center DFW7, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, attendance, and performance within your team. You'll lead a team of hourly workforce, engaging with them during their shifts to maintain a positive and productive work environment. Your goal will be to meet customer expectations by delivering orders at the right time, to the right location. Key Responsibilities and Job Elements Leadership and Team Management: Support, mentor, and motivate your hourly workforce to achieve exceptional results. Safety and Quality: Manage safety, quality, productivity, and customer delivery promises, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. Collaboration: Work closely with support teams, including Safety, Engineering, Loss Prevention, Quality Assurance, and Human Resources to develop plans that meet business objectives. Physical Demands: Lift up to 49 pounds and frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach. Stand/walk for up to 12 hours during shifts. Work Environment: Work in an environment where the noise level varies and can be loud. Be prepared to work in variable temperatures and weather conditions (delivery stations include outside loading departments). Flexibility: Continuously climb and descend stairs (applies to sites with stairs). Essential and Preferred Qualifications To succeed as an Area Manager at Amazon Fulfillment Center DFW7, you'll need: Leadership Experience: Proven experience in leading high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment. Preferred qualifications include: Amazon Experience: Previous experience working at Amazon or in a similar fulfillment center environment. Operations Management: Experience in operations management, with a focus on safety, quality, and productivity. Certifications or Training: Relevant certifications or training in areas such as safety, leadership, or operations management.
