How You'll Help Us Keep Climbing As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our customers' baggage and cargo arrive safely and on time. Your daily tasks will include: Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft Guiding incoming and departing aircraft from gate positions to ensure timely connections Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination Work Environment and Schedule As a Ramp Agent at blithequark, you will work in a fast-paced airport environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. Your schedule will be based on operational needs, and you can expect to work a variety of shifts, including early morning, afternoon, and overnight shifts. You will typically work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority and the needs of the airport. Compensation and Benefits At blithequark, we offer a competitive starting pay of $19.00 per hour, with regular pay increases over a period of 10.5 years.
