Job Overview and Key Responsibilities As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and timely transportation of cargo and baggage to and from aircraft. Some of your daily tasks will include: Safely lifting, loading, unloading, and transporting baggage, mail, and cargo to and from aircraft Safeguarding cargo, baggage, and mail from damage, loss, and weather Safely driving and operating ground equipment such as tugs, belt loaders, and tow tractors in areas of congestion Operating baggage scanners and computers to ensure baggage is routed accurately to the customer's destination Guiding incoming and departing aircraft from the gate positions to ensure timely connections Work Environment and Schedule As a Ramp Agent, you will work in a fast-paced airport environment that requires a high level of physical activity, including bending, lifting, standing, and walking. You will be required to work in harsh weather conditions, including heat, rain, and snow, and to practice safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures. Scheduling is based on operational needs, and shifts range from early morning to overnight. You will typically work between 20 and 40 hours per week, depending on your seniority.
