Job Overview The Agency Sales Manager is a knowledgeable authority for corporate travel management services at arenaflex. As a key player in our team, this role exercises significant judgment to drive consistent revenue growth, utilizing aspects of our organization and corporate client relationships. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales, marketing, and business development, with a focus on corporate travel management. Key Responsibilities Act as an informed authority for Travel Management Company (TMC) business for arenaflex, providing expert guidance and support to drive revenue growth and customer satisfaction. Build and maintain key business relationships with TMC accounts focused on business travel, leveraging industry knowledge and expertise to drive sales and revenue growth. With minimal direction from authority, exercise extensive judgment to manage pricing, cost analysis, and negotiations of all TMC agreements, with a focus on achieving the highest market share and yield possible in individual markets. Collaborate with legal and risk management teams to develop contract-compliant agreements that meet the needs of arenaflex and its customers. Analyze revenue, margins, and contract performance to ensure objective compliance and profitability, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to drive growth. Develop marketing-related promotions to support sales efforts, working closely with marketing and business development teams to drive revenue and customer engagement. Manage the development of TMC agency accounts through sales calls, negotiating agreements, and coordinating with pricing and revenue management teams. Plan business growth and lead development of other agency accounts through collaboration with revenue management teams, ensuring that exceptional entries are filed accordingly and driving expected revenue per the specifications of the agreement. Monitor reporting and metrics to identify trends and develop a strategy to ensure that arenaflex is positioned appropriately in the market, staying ahead of the competition and driving revenue growth. Effectively manage and negotiate time and resources, maximizing revenue opportunities at the most cost-effective rate for arenaflex. Prepare and execute local sales plans in accordance with corporate sales targets, ensuring that arenaflex is strategically positioned among its competitors and leveraging its position in the marketplace. Essential Qualifications 2 years of experience in outside sales, with a focus in the retail service environment or related area, preferably in the corporate travel management industry. Bachelor's degree, or two additional years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree. Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook). High school diploma or equivalent. Must be authorized to work in the U.S. Preferred Qualifications Prior airline experience, preferably in corporate travel management or a related field. Prior exposure to and use of travel industry data reporting sources like Curve and Crystal. Proficiency with CRM tool Salesforce. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to drive results to the greatest advantage of the organization. Ability to establish cross-functional, collaborative relationships with different teams and workgroups. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to conflicts caused by competing needs.
