Job Summary We're seeking two highly motivated and detail-oriented student assistants to join our team at arenaflex. As an administrative and data entry student assistant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our research initiatives, managing administrative tasks, and providing exceptional customer service to our stakeholders. Key Responsibilities As an administrative and data entry student assistant at arenaflex, your duties will include: Covering the reception area and providing exceptional customer service to visitors and stakeholders Scanning administrative files and organizing digital information and paper files Creating inventories for supplies and managing administrative tasks Providing assistance at departmental events and supporting research initiatives Performing data entry, including special data entry projects, and ensuring accuracy and attention to detail Assisting with processing mailing returns by tracing contact information and entering new information into the database Completing other support tasks as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our department Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess: A current enrollment as a UW-Madison undergraduate student Experience using Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook Availability to work during the summer semester Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and confidentiality A strong work ethic and ability to work independently once familiar with job responsibilities Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications would be an asset in this role: Experience working in an administrative or research setting Knowledge of data entry software and databases Ability to lift, carry, and move boxes and efficiently complete campus errands Work Environment and Culture As a student assistant at arenaflex, you'll be part of a dynamic and inclusive team that values collaboration, creativity, and growth.
