As an Adjunct Instructor for Anatomy & Physiology, you will play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of our students and contributing to the advancement of the nursing profession. Key Responsibilities Create an engaging and inclusive learning environment that fosters student success in the classroom, online, and/or laboratory settings. Develop and deliver high-quality instruction using a range of teaching methods, including lectures, demonstrations, and technology-enhanced learning tools. Evaluate student performance, provide constructive feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress. Identify students who are at risk of not succeeding and refer them to the Student Success Coordinator for additional support. Provide individualized tutoring and mentoring to students as needed, promoting academic excellence and personal growth. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities, including conferences, seminars, and training sessions, to stay current with best practices in education and nursing. Contribute to the enrichment of our programs and students through active participation in academic committees and other college initiatives. Perform administrative duties, such as grading, tracking attendance, and maintaining grade books, as required. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must possess: A Master's degree or higher in a related field from an accredited program recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA). A minimum of 15 credit hours or equivalent in the assigned subject area (Anatomy & Physiology). Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, in English. Preferred Qualifications While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly desirable: A minimum of three years of experience as an educator, preferably in a higher education setting. A proven track record of teaching excellence and student success.
