About the Role We are seeking an experienced Actuarial Analyst to join our team in a remote capacity. As an Actuarial Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business by providing data-driven insights and analysis to inform decision-making. Primary Responsibilities Compile Medicare Advantage risk adjustment data for market-level reporting Support prospective risk adjustment programs by supplying key data that helps drive member and provider encounters Work with broader UnitedHealthcare teams to provide member-level data related to eligibility and individual risk scores Produce revenue accruals estimating the impacts of membership risk type restatement Assist with ad hoc actuarial studies Develop programming skills using SAS Qualifications and Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in actuarial principles and practices, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You should be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, calculations, pivot tables, charts, and graphs. Compensation and Benefits We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, which includes a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase, and 401k contribution. Our salary range for this role is $58,300 to $114,300 annually, depending on experience and location.
