About the Role: Cloud Gaming Software Engineer We're seeking a talented and motivated Entry-Level Remote Software Engineer to join our Cloud Gaming team. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for architecting, developing, and maintaining complex software stacks for our cloud gaming service. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain high-performance, real-time applications for cloud gaming services Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements Optimize software performance, ensuring efficient use of hardware and network resources Develop and maintain expertise in relevant technologies, including C/C++, graphics processing, and network transport protocols Participate in code reviews, ensuring high-quality, maintainable code Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, working independently and collaboratively Essential Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field Strong C or C++ programming skills, with a deep understanding of software development principles Experience developing high-performance, real-time applications, such as games or simulations Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams Preferred Qualifications: Experience developing SDKs and APIs (e.g., Vulkan, DirectX, Metal, OpenGL) Proficiency in multiple programming languages (e.g., Go, Python, Rust) Experience with game development, including game engines like Unity or Unreal Knowledge of graphics processing, including optimization techniques for graphics workloads Experience with automated testing, including functional and performance testing Skills and Competencies: To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a quick learner, passionate about software development, and committed to delivering high-quality solutions.
