About the Role: Entry-Level ONSITE Legal Assistant We are excited to offer an entry-level legal assistant position that will provide you with hands-on experience in immigration law. As a Legal Assistant, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our experienced attorneys, interface with clients, and contribute to the success of our firm. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary range of $24-$30 per hour, depending on your legal work experience. Key Responsibilities: Interface with clients, responding to their inquiries and providing exceptional customer service Write letters, memos, and other legal documents under the direction of our experienced attorneys Conduct legal research and analyze data to support our attorneys in their cases Assist with preparing and filing legal documents, such as petitions and applications Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, both physical and digital Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives Essential Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you should possess: A strong passion for the legal field, particularly immigration law Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work with clients and team members effectively Basic knowledge of legal terminology and procedures Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects simultaneously A willingness to learn and take on new challenges, with a positive and proactive attitude Preferred Qualifications: While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in a legal setting, either through internships or volunteer work Knowledge of immigration law and procedures Fluency in a second language, particularly Spanish Experience with legal software and databases A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as law, politics, or international relations Skills and Competencies: To excel in this role, you should possess: Attention to detail: with the ability to accurately prepare and review legal documents Organizational skills: with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously Communication skills: with the ability to effectively communicate with clients, attorneys, and other team members Analytical skills: with the ability to analyze data and conduct legal research Teamwork skills: with the ability to collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals and objectives Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits: At Workwarp, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
