Job Summary The Entry Level Data Entry and Reconciliation Specialist will be responsible for performing daily reconciliation, trade, and transfer activities for various investments. The successful candidate will process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles, identify and address breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents, and handle corporate activity events, settlement, and reconciliation of transfer activity, and processing and reconciliation of returns activity. This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities Process exchange buy and sell transactions in customer profiles Identify and address breaks between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents Handle corporate activity events, settlement, and reconciliation of transfer activity Process and reconcile returns activity Perform research on complex and escalated issues Conduct testing and validation of new technology enhancements and company changes Complete projects in investing, dividends, transfers, reconciliation, and corporate actions that directly impact client/advisor accounts Communicate with retail and institutional business teams through email, phone, Slack, Outlook, and Salesforce Collaborate with blithequark operations teams, including fund companies, transfer brokers, contra organizations, and other external business partners Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need: A high school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred 0-2 years of experience in data entry, customer service, or a related field Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with internal and external stakeholders Basic knowledge of financial concepts, including investments, trading, and reconciliation Ability to work in a remote environment, with reliable internet connection and necessary equipment Preferred Qualifications Preferred candidates will have: Experience with data entry software and systems, including CRM and ERP systems Knowledge of regulatory requirements, including 2340 and 15C3-3 Experience with financial analysis and reporting, including reconciliation and settlement Strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite Certifications or training in data entry, customer service, or a related field Skills and Competencies To succeed in this role, you will need to demonstrate the following skills and competencies: Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work with internal and external stakeholders Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong problem-solving and analytical skills Basic knowledge of financial concepts, including investments, trading, and reconciliation Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with strong time management and organizational skills Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our employees.
