Join Our Team You will be an Enterprise Architect for the Corporate Functions portfolio within our Group IT team. Our Corporate Functions portfolio specializes in supporting our Financial, HR and Legal business areas. You will play a crucial role in selecting, designing integrations and facilitating the implementation of these systems. The ideal candidate will have experience designing integrations with Workday Financials and PRISM. The role reports to the Chief Architect & Delivery. Your responsibilities will include: • Develop and maintain, in partnership with the Enterprise Architecture team, a strategic IT roadmap for insurance systems that aligns with the organization’s business objectives. • Lead the evaluation, analysis and design of insurance solutions based on enterprise business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards. • Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external vendors to define and implement architectural solutions. • Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural standards and best practices. • Identify potential areas of improvement in the current IT environment and proposing and implementing solutions. • Maintain an understanding of emerging technologies, trends, and techniques and assessing their relevance to the organization’s business objectives. • Conduct architectural reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with industry standards. • Develop and maintain architectural documentation, including system diagrams, data models, and technical specifications. Your skills and abilities should include: • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information-technology, engineering, system analysis or a related study, or equivalent experience. • 10+ years of experience in architecture and/or product management or related roles in the P&C (re) insurance industry. Experience with Workday Financials and UKG is advantageous. • Strong written, verbal, and graphic communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate technical information to varying audiences. • Strong leadership skills; ability to establish and maintain credibility and to influence and build trust. • Demonstrated track record of excellent decision-making abilities; ability to make decisions logically, methodically and timely. • Deep and up-to-date expertise in SaaS, infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, Dev Ops and micro services. • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks. • Strong analytical skills and knowledge of the latest trends in technology architecture.
