About the position The Site Merchandising Specialist I plays a crucial role in supporting the ecommerce objectives for Columbia's websites in the US and Canada. This position focuses on executing product setup, data cleansing, and optimization for product conversion, while also managing technical troubleshooting and communication with stakeholders. The specialist is responsible for ensuring timely and accurate product launches, making independent decisions in their daily tasks. Responsibilities • Sets up and executes all SKU launches on US and Canada sites. • Maintains Master Styles List. • Monitors production cycles to facilitate timely go-live. • Strategically enriches product data with supplemental facets, filters, attribution, and product details. • Cleanses data of inaccuracies, incomplete fields, and irrelevant details. • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure product copy is accurate and optimal for SEO. • Partners with Product Content Specialist to place relevant imagery, videos, and badging. • Completes categorization and enrichment for browse experiences, collection pages, and gift guides. • Collaborates with partners to proactively plan and rollout experiences for product go-live. • Helps optimize PDP content, site search, filtering, navigation, and product recommendations. • Supports promotion planning, product inclusion/exclusion rules, and pricebook maintenance. • Validates browse and product experiences with each replication. • Maintains page and UPC activation and archival. • Performs other duties as assigned. Requirements • 2+ years' experience in project coordination or data processing with Site Merchandising, Product Marketing, or Product Lifecycle Management. • Experience with Salesforce or other commerce platform. • Working knowledge of a PIM solution strongly preferred. • Analytics skills and experience with website analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics is a plus. • Strong experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders with competing priorities. • Experience with JIRA or other issue tracking and project management software is a plus. • Experience in a B2C, Omni-channel Retail environment is preferred. • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate and coordinate tasks/projects. Nice-to-haves • Familiarity with best practices in eCommerce experiences. • Highly proficient with technical tools and systems and all Microsoft Office applications.
