About the position About this role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Financial Crimes Due Diligence Consultant within the Corporate Politically Exposed Person (PEP) Team. Specific responsibilities include but are not limited to: In this role, you will: Making determinations on PEP status, assessing PEP risk levels, understanding complex PEP customers and networks, and documenting rationale related to PEP. Drive successful results and continual process improvement Review and analyze PEP processes or challenges that require research, evaluation, and selection of alternatives Exercise independent judgment to guide low to medium risk deliverables Present recommendations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in the PEP function, policies, procedures and compliance requirements.
