Document Processor (Undergraduate Student Wage) Federal Work Study

Student Financial Services, a department within UVA, is currently recruiting for an Undergraduate Federal Work Study Document Processor position. This position will be located in Carruthers Hall, located at 1001 N. Emmett Street in Charlottesville, Virginia. The Document Processor will process Federal Work Study Vouchers that are submitted for positions across UVA for the Federal Work Study Program. This entails using Word, Excel, Outlook email, SIS, and systems specific for the Federal Work Study program. There will be contact with other hiring departments across Grounds to ensure the Federal Work Study guidelines are being met. There will be frequent updates with the supervisor and regular processing during the week. This position is open to Undergraduate Federal Work Study students. Training will be provided for the right candidate. Qualifications: Excel Word Outlook ImageNow Good attitude Highly organized Time management Confidentiality a MUST Hours: 6-10 hours per week. Position begins August 26, 2025, or later, and ends May 8, 2026. Expectation for this position is in person only with potential for hybrid in Spring term only. This is a paid position. Starting compensation is $14.53 per hour. Returning students are eligible to return in 2026-2027, if Federal Work Study eligible and with hiring manager agreement.
