Job title: Freelance Spectrum on the Street Director Company: Jubilee Media Job description: Freelance Spectrum on the Street Director Jubilee is seeking an eager director to lead the charge for our successful TikTok series “Spectrum on the Street” - a show where we collect an array of diverse opinions from strangers on political, cultural and personal topics. Looking for a scrappy, young entry-level creative that wants to join the Jubilee team and has a passion for short form content. Must be comfortable with interviewing strangers on the street, is naturally curious and inquisitive, and is a great communicator with excitement to create a lot of cool and meaningful content. What You'll Do • Learn and maintain our current TikTok format for Spectrum on the Street • Use creative skills and to elevate the style of the format • Collaborate with our Product Team in concepting prompts to add to our master list • Go out and film content for this series weekly • Venture to public locations and be flexible and proactive in seeking out participants • Obtain signatures on release forms from participants • Utilize your top notch interpersonal skills to interview strangers and find diverse opinions within your conversations • Oversee post-production and final edit Who You Are • A creative with 2-4 years of experience making TikToks, Youtube videos, or reels on Instagram • Someone who understands the creative and technical aspects of short form production • A content creator with the ability to make high-performing digital content • Someone with a deep appreciation for Jubilee’s brand and mission and has the ability to effectively communicate that through this Spectrum on the Street series • A social butterfly that thrives off human interaction • Someone who can find humanity in unexpected situations • A storyteller with something to say • Based in Los Angeles What We Offer • Flexible PTO plan - take the time you need! • Medical, Dental, Vision plans - we pay 90% of the base plan for all our full time employees • Life Insurance, 401(k) plan • Kitchen with free snacks & drinks • A creative environment without rigid structure - we truly encourage our team to bring their authentic, true selves to work everyday • Fun employee-led events, company off-sites, uniquely led team meetings, and so much more! • *PLEASE NOTE: Jubilee has a hybrid work culture and we are currently working in-office 3 days at work with 2 days a week of remote work.
