As a Uniform Attendant at Disneyland Resort Hotels, you'll play a vital role in maintaining the Disney Look appearance guidelines by providing top-notch costume services to our Cast Members. Job Overview We're seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Uniform Attendant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Uniform Attendant, you'll be responsible for maintaining and issuing costumes to over 25,000 Cast Members across the Disneyland Resort. This is a unique opportunity to work behind the scenes and contribute to the overall Disney experience. Key Responsibilities Interact with Cast Members to answer questions and provide directions on the location and accurate wear of over 300 types of costumes issued at the Resort. Assist Cast Members in locating the correct costumes, advise on how to wear them accurately, and check out costumes to Cast Members. Assist with the cleaning of soiled costume pieces, including sorting, scrubbing, hand-washing, washing, drying, ironing, folding, and placing costumes on hangers. Operate heavy equipment and work with chemicals and hazardous materials (with training provided). Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for prolonged periods and lifting heavy objects as needed. Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, you must: Be at least 18 years of age. Be able to stand for two to three hours at a time and lift heavy objects. Be willing to work at various heights. Possess strong computer proficiency, including typing skills and the ability to navigate multiple computer systems. Be able to work in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are highly preferred: Bilingual skills. Previous experience in costuming issue/repair. Experience working with costumes in a theatre or show production. A valid California driver's license. Schedule Availability Our Theme Parks and Resort Hotels operate 24/7, 365 days a year. As a part-time Uniform Attendant, you'll be required to work a variety of shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Specifically, you'll need to be available to work full-time on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
