Director, Responsible AI Strategy Team (People Leader)
About the position The Director of Responsible AI Strategy Team is a leadership role focused on guiding Salesforce's AI initiatives and ensuring the responsible use of AI technologies. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including C-level executives, to develop and implement strategic AI solutions that align with customer needs and ethical guidelines. The role requires a deep understanding of AI technologies, strong leadership skills, and the ability to mentor a diverse team of AI Business Strategy Consultants. Responsibilities • Lead and mentor a diverse team of AI Business Strategy Consultants, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. • Engage senior level customer leaders in planned meetings, workshops, and discussions to establish credibility and demonstrate AI expertise. • Develop readiness assessments, vision, strategy, and points of view for AI focus topics. • Partner with TMP leaders to ensure continuous feedback between product management and customer implementations. • Coordinate and collaborate on knowledge, assets, and enablement tools to scale AI knowledge throughout professional services. • Act as a trusted advisor to sales teams in creating customized solutions for key accounts. • Build and maintain thought leadership content regarding AI topics. Requirements • 10+ years of strategic consulting experience with large clients and responsibility for recommendations from vision to operationalizing roadmaps. • 5+ years of proven experience managing diverse teams in a flexible environment. • Expertise in AI capabilities, including researching, publishing, and implementing AI solutions. • Strong understanding of overall AI challenges and technology trends, with the ability to translate these into successful strategies. • Experience in Enterprise Architecture, Business Strategy, Product Management, Agile, Program Governance, Experience Design, Change Management, and/or Value Realization. • Knowledge of Salesforce products and capabilities, with experience designing and/or implementing Salesforce solutions. • Strong communication, presentation, and writing skills, with the ability to create content for enablement. Nice-to-haves • Proven success in a matrixed and highly collaborative environment. • Prior success in emerging tech, regulatory/policy environments, or other AI implementations.
