The Role As a Customer Service Representative with our Review Team, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional service to our customers. Your responsibilities will include: Interacting with beneficiaries and providers via our helpline, responding to their inquiries, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Creating, formatting, and proofreading letters to ensure accuracy and clarity. Managing and maintaining timely communication with customers, including responding to phone calls, emails, and other correspondence. Utilizing internal quality control tools to assess individual work and team processes. Providing intake for all appeals received by Arsenault, ensuring accurate and timely processing. Building and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers. Identifying areas for potential improvement and participating in process improvement initiatives. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Excellent verbal communication skills, with a courteous and patient demeanor. Good grammar, punctuation, spelling, hyphenation, and written communications skills. Customer-focused, results-oriented, and capable of building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers. General knowledge of a PC-based computer system, with the ability to learn additional software packages as needed. Ability to multi-task, prioritize assignments, and work independently. Preferred Qualifications Post-high school business courses. Medical terminology experience. Prior work in a healthcare setting or medical terminology. Previous data entry or other clerical experience. Experience We recommend two to three years of clerical experience, including word processing, various filing systems, and telephone customer service responsibilities.
