As a Customer Service Representative, you will serve as the initial point of contact for banking inquiries and concerns, providing support to existing and prospective clients via inbound telephone calls and live chat. You will resolve concerns on retail, commercial, and online banking, as well as bankcard, fraud, forgery, ID theft, policy, and procedural questions. Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at First Citizens Bank, your key responsibilities will include: Serving as an initial point of contact on banking inquiries and concerns, providing support to existing and prospective clients via inbound telephone calls and live chat Resolving concerns on retail, commercial, and online banking, as well as bankcard, fraud, forgery, ID theft, policy, and procedural questions Identifying cross-sell opportunities and making referrals as appropriate Providing accurate and confidential client service through bankcard, business online banking, or general servicing knowledge Working in a fast-paced environment , multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks to meet customer needs Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Customer Service Representative at First Citizens Bank, you will need to meet the following requirements and qualifications: Basic Qualifications High school diploma or GED required 1 year of call center or customer service experience required Essential Skills and Competencies Strong verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of PC-based software Ability to work in multiple software applications at one time Strong keyboard skills Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment Ability to display professionalism while interacting with others Preferred Qualifications Call center experience Bachelor's degree Financial Services experience Bilingual (Spanish) skills Work Environment and Culture At First Citizens Bank, we pride ourselves on our collaborative and dynamic work environment. Hours of Operation Our Customer Engagement Center operates on the following schedule: Monday - Friday : 8am - 9pm Saturday & Sunday : 8am - 8pm Various schedules are available, and we will work with you to find a schedule that meets your needs.
