About the Role As a Customer Care Professional - Consumer Product Services, you'll be the face of American Express, interacting with our customers daily to provide personalized solutions, answer queries, and resolve issues. You'll work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two calls are the same, and you'll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our customers' lives. Key Responsibilities: Deliver extraordinary service on inbound calls, following our Customer First philosophy to understand customer needs and provide tailored solutions. Consult with card members to reinforce the benefits of card membership, provide relevant product offers, and deepen customer engagement. Continuously improve on key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales. Address general and account-specific customer inquiries, providing clear and concise information and updating customer account information as needed. Use tools and resources to identify custom solutions and anticipate customer needs, striving for first-point-of-contact resolution. Meet and exceed performance goals, including customer survey results, sales rates, quality goals, compliance regulations, and productivity targets. Preferred Qualifications To succeed in this role, you'll need: Proven success in a customer service and consultative sales environment (minimum 2 years), with a passion for building customer loyalty through exceptional listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication. Integrity to manage sensitive card member information and adhere to all Regulatory and Compliance guidelines related to servicing and sales practices. A passion for consultative sales, recommending products or solutions tailored to each customer. Resilience to efficiently manage a steady stream of customer calls, balance performance metrics, and remain positive in challenging situations. The ability to adapt your communication style to a wide variety of personalities and situations. A commitment to implementing feedback to achieve individual and team performance goals. Technical savvy to multi-task and navigate through computer systems and applications with speed and accuracy. Timeliness and reliability, with a strong track record of being on time and adhering to schedules. Additional Requirements Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends, between 6:00 am and 2:00 am. A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a bachelor's degree is preferred. Full-time commitment with shift flexibility requirements. Location: Sunrise, Florida.
